Good Food Ireland Awards Night at the K Club

Was absolutely thrilled to have reached the finals in the Sweet & Savoury Producer of the Year. It wouldn’t have happened without my Native Irish Honey Bees. Congrats to @irishblackbutter for winning the category.

It was such an enjoyable evening sitting with @danottaway and colleagues from @tulfarrishotelandgolfresort Blessington who were Finalists in Best 4-Star Hotel.

Dan will be on Ireland AM this Friday doing a cookery demo and chatting about his time as a chef to the royals.

We also shared a table with The Bianconi Inn  in Killorglin – where my late mother was from – who went on to win Best Pub Restaurant of the Year. A lovely connection and a very deserving win.

I enjoyed plenty of gorgeous apple juice at the table from fellow Tipperary Food Producer, @theapplefarm who were Finalists in Fruit & Veg Producer of the Year.

Wonderful, too, to see fellow beekeepers @leahybeekeeping in the finals for Food Tourism Experience of the Year

Congrats to our wonderful customer @cashelpalace for winning Wine List of the Year. They were also Finalist in Culinary Haven of the Year.

And a huge congratulations to Veronica Molloy of @crossogue_preserves on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award – so well deserved. Crossogue is another proud member of the Tipperary Food Producers Network, and it was brilliant to see such recognition for her.

Amazing meal so many incredible producers it would be impossible to mention them all.

Thanks @goodfoodireland for a great night!
