About Our Ivy & Heather Honey: Ivy honey is collected by the bees from the blossom of the ivy plant in Sept., Oct. and Nov. Ivy honey contains high levels of saponins and consumers have found it to be helpful for the respiratory system. Heather Honey has higher polyphenol levels than manuka honey. We blend both these honeys together and coarse filter them to retain high levels of pollen and traces of propolis.
